The temperamental volcanoes and the slow holiday pace
One of the most popular destinations for Spartivento clients is the UNESCO-protected Aeolian Islands. The islands of Vulcano, Lipari, Salina, Panarea, Stromboli, Filicudi and Alicudi are located in the blue-green Mediterranean Sea on the north-east coast of Sicily and each has its own character and personality.
The stunning waters here are a sailor's paradise, where not only sailing enthusiasts but also swimmers and divers will enjoy themselves. Hiking fans can climb one of the volcanoes and gourmets can enjoy crispy cannoli tubes washed down with delicious malvasia. During the cruise, Stromboli, still one of the world's most active volcanoes, can be observed from a respectful distance (or up close). And the islands of Filicudi and Alicudi, almost untouched by tourism, are also worth mentioning. They will be especially appreciated by all lovers of a slow pace.
