Sunsail has specialised in sailing holidays since 1974, when the first seven yachts set sail from picturesque Aegina in Greece for the Saronic Gulf under the leadership of Captain Janet Green. Today, Sunsail's repertoire is much more varied. They offer boats in Greece, Croatia and Italy, but you can also enjoy luxury adventures in the Caribbean, the Seychelles, Thailand and other exotic destinations such as the British Virgin Islands, French Polynesia... All this on elegant catamarans or sailboats of all sizes. If you'd rather have someone take the helm for you, you can of course hire a skipper for the duration of your holiday.
What boats you can hire
You can choose from classic sailboats from the Janneau shipyard's workshop of various sizes – from 32 feet to 53 feet. All boats are meticulously maintained and offer every comfort.
In addition to the sailboats mentioned above, Sunsail's charter fleet also includes catamarans, which offer comfort and a great balance between performance and handling for the crew on board. Sunsail's fleet includes sailing catamarans from the world's leading manufacturers – for example, Robertson & Caine's Leopard catamarans or Lagoon catamarans of various sizes.
Speciality: fleet cruises
Sunsail's speciality, in addition to the regular charter, is the Fleet Cruise, which is an unforgettable experience. Sightseers will appreciate the perfectly planned itinerary and there is a special activity coordinator for children. If you like to indulge on holiday in addition to exploring new destinations, the special food and wine fleets are sure to appeal. Sunsail also offers packages for couples or families. Whichever you choose, you'll be guided by an experienced leadership crew consisting of a captain, host and engineer who will make sure you have a memorable holiday. The crew can handle any day-to-day problem and on top of that, they organize unbeatable punch parties.
