Lagoon 40
Smaller but very comfortable catamaran. Lagoon 40 is a stable two-hull sailing boat, on which you will enjoy plenty of comfort and sailing. Lagoons have quality sails, both the basic ones (mainsail and genoa) and the additional ones –gennaker.
Capacity and equipment
The boat is suitable for 6 to 12 people depending on the interior layout. The number of bathrooms (two to four) logically depends on the number of cabins. Lagoon 40 usually offers three to four cabins. The model is recommended especially for families with children. On the front lounging nets you will enjoy the sun and the beautiful views.
Where can you sail from?
With the Lagoon 40 you can sail to Croatia, Greece and Italy. A great alternative to these well-known but somewhat crowded destinations in high season is Montenegro, where the Lagoon 40 Kowalski or the Lagoon 40 Elanor are moored in the Balearic Islands. However, you can also visit exotic landscapes in search of this model – the Lagoon 40 Charrette catamaran in the British Virgin Islands, the Lady Gaby in the Bahamas or even explore the coast of Australia with the Lumiere.
Lagoon Shipyard
One of the world's most renowned catamaran shipyards emphasizes innovation and pioneering. At Lagoon, new catamaran models have not only been manufactured but also developed since 1984. The technicians here have also completed one really interesting commission: the trimarans that appeared in the 1995 Hollywood blockbuster film Waterworld.
Maximum comfort, impressive performance
Emphasis on spaciousness, comfort and a certain degree of luxury are the hallmarks of the brand's boats. Impressive at first glance, the design is never an end in itself, always designed to allow a natural connection between the interior and the exterior. The catamarans are equipped with the latest technology and smart devices such as an electricity generator, a drinking water maker or air conditioning. Ensuring the best possible quality of your stay on board is a priority. However, comfort is not at the expense of performance, Lagoon catamarans are always pleasantly "rideable".
The most popular models
The Lagoon brand is part of the Bénéteau Group. Among the most popular models of this shipyard are the Lagoon 450 or the larger Lagoon 52. Catamarans are generally very popular in Thailand, but those from the Lagoon brand enjoy a particularly good reputation among the wealthy clientele.
