Top catamarans in Europe you'll love

We'll start with the most accessible destinations, where you can go for a sailing adventure by car, train or direct flight from most major European capitals. Which catamarans are among the most popular for cruising Europe's waters?

Croatian favourite Lagoon 42

It is no wonder that the Lagoon 42 has become one of the most popular catamarans of 2023 — its specs are perfect for summer holidays. 4 to 6 cabins provide comfort for up to 12 people, the full-beam mainsail allows for windward sailing, and the hull is stable. For two or three families this vessel is excellent. Lagoon 42s are also very well equipped — the inventory includes a dinghy and a large fridge, with some models even coming with air conditioning, solar panels or a generator.

One huge benefit is that the Lagoon 42's home marina is located in Croatia which means you can rent it in the most popular cities and marinas, such as Trogir, Dubrovnik, Biograd na Moru, Rogoznica or Vodice.
