Popular charter sailing yacht suitable for summer fun and spring or autumn sailing. Sun Odyssey 419 offers standard comfort typical for sailboats of this class and size, the model has very good handling characteristics.
Most boats have a classic spire mainsail, some models can be rented with an additional gennaker sail. If you are expecting rather lighter winds, be sure to try it, you will have a lot of sailing fun. Sailing with a gennaker is one of the best experiences you can have on a sailboat.
Capacity and equipment
Most Sun Odyssey 419 boats are designed as three-cabin boats and can accommodate up to 8 people. However, there are some exceptions that have only two cabins. Therefore, we recommend this model especially for two smaller families or a group of friends who know each other well. There is not enough space for everyone to enjoy 100 % privacy.
In terms of equipment, expect the classic kit, i.e. an additional dinghy, fridge, sprayhood (fabric cockpit protector) and baden plato. Individual models vary, especially the bow thruster (docking device) or plotter (special navigation device) in the cockpit. However, you will definitely not suffer on this boat, it really offers enough comfort for a week or two weeks cruise.
