This bustling town on the southern shore of Lake Tisza, which faces a large bay, is a popular destination for families with children. Enjoy its beautiful sandy beach and giant waterslide, as well as leisure activities such as water skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding and inflatable boat rides!

Poroszló: learn about nature on Lake Tisza

Here you will find everything you want to know about Lake Tisza. Visit the Lake Tisza Poroszló Ecotourism Centre. It houses the largest freshwater aquarium in Europe and includes interactive games and a 3D cinema.

Tiszafüred: spa resort on the shores of Lake Tisza

Tiszafüred, the largest town on the shores of Lake Tisza. It is also a paradise for water sports enthusiasts. Enjoy swimming at the beach, fishing, windsurfing, canoeing and much more. Don't miss a soothing swim in the thermal waters at a temperature of 39 degrees.

Hortobágy: in the heart of the Hungarian "Puszta"

Follow the Tisza River and anchor on the banks of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hortobágy National Park. The "Puszta", the largest steppe in Central Europe, offers a unique experience to see the work ofthe work of shepherds, herders and horse breeders in an impressive landscape between ponds, green pastures and a bird sanctuary.

The town of Hortobágy is located in the centre of this region and is a "must see" on your holiday - especially the iconic nine-arch bridge that crosses the river of the same name.

Tiszacsege: located at the entrance to the Hortobágy Nature Reserve

Tiszacsege is located at the gate of the Hortobágy National Park on the left bank of the Tisza River and has an excellent location for exploring the vast steppes (grasslands) of the Hungarian 'puszta'. The thermal baths (with two indoor and outdoor pools) are famous for their healing properties.

Tiszalök: Enjoy an impressive nature walk along the Tisza River

When you arrive in Tiszalök, you will see an impressive and impressive hydroelectric power station situated on the Tisza River. There is also a long wooden footbridge and a path across the heath. On your walking tour you will enjoy the tranquillity of the beautiful surrounding wetlands.
