You will start your Swedish journey in the village of Sjötorp, located in Västra Götaland. Here, you'll be fortified with smoked salmon before heading further along the Göta Canal. There's also a museum dedicated to the history of the canal. You can also play sports — play golf or beach volleyball. Then sail on towards Töreboda, where you can try the water in the local heated pool. Your last stop before heading back will be Karlsborg, which is located on the Vannäs peninsula that runs into Lake Vättern. A fortress was built here in the 19th century. A treasure hunt game for children is held here several times a day. On Lake Vättern, you can encounter a unique local feature, the floating sauna. Be sure to try it out so you have something to talk about at home!
