In 2017 we are opening a new base for you — Hindeloopen! Hindeloopen is situated on the banks of the IJsselmeer. For centuries it has been considered a city of art and artists. Due to its location by the sea, it has been highly cosmopolitan since the Middle Ages, which is also reflected in the local language. You can still encounter the archaic dialect of "Hindeloop", a mixture of Danish, Norwegian, Frisian and English.
From Hindeloopen you can connect to beautiful waterways, it's up to you where you visit and what you miss.
The Frisian towns are interconnected by canals and lakes, so you can set sail to meet Workum and Bolsward or head across to Sneek, Grouw and Leeuwarden. There are no limits to your imagination!
