Languimberg is a small village with less than 200 inhabitants. It is situated right in the heart of the region around the Moselle River. Sarrebourg and the Sainte-Croix Animal Park are located near the village. A Michelin-starred restaurant can be found right in Languimberg.

Lake Gondrexange, on whose shores Languimberg lies, is an oasis of tranquillity and a renowned fishing spot.

Languimberg is a great starting point for wandering around cosmopolitan Alsace-Lorraine, its location allows you to venture in almost every direction. You can sail towards Nancy (west) or head north towards Sarralbe. It is also possible to sail east towards Strasbourg.

Languimberg lies at the junction of the Canal de la Marne au Rhin (Arzviller) and the Canal des Houilleres de la Sarre (27 locks). The latter canal is bordered by a wonderful cycle path.

Try one of the local specialities made from plums (jams, cakes, liqueurs and brandies), the famous quiche Lorraine or a dish of crayfish meat.

Sarreguemines is famous for its porcelain, and there is also a stoneware museum and an archaeological park. In Lagarde you can visit a nature park.
