In few European countries do you have the opportunity to moor your houseboat on the shores of the crystallake right next to a wooden cabin that hides a real treasure - a heated sauna. Relaxing in the warmth is replaced by cooling off in the refreshing lake water, in the presence of views that will take your breath away. Floating on Finnish waters is simply dreamy.

What awaits you
The jewel of the region is undoubtedly Saimaa See, the largest lake in Finnish territory, located in the south-east of the country. The lake is connected by canals to other lakes in the area, so you'll find a large system of lakes that you can sail your houseboat across.
The region also boasts two national parks, which you can explore carefully from behind the helm, but also with mountains at your feet. Their character is different - while Linnansaari National Park is home to many endangered species and boasts almost untouched by man, Koli National Park is significant in terms of preserving Finland's distinctive agri-culture.
The unique network of lakes connected by canals is also important for water tourism, in addition to the shipping that is intrinsically linked to the region. Voyaging has a long tradition in Finland, and even today ships carrying huge loads of wood, paper and metal still ply in parts of the region.
Your adventure will begin in the town of Savonlinna, where our base is located and where you can explore the local castle with its three towers. Afterwards, you'll venture out into the beautiful countryside, as well as interesting towns such as Lappeenranta, Joensuú and Imatra.
