This route begins in the town of Stone and follows narrow historic waterways southward. You'll pass through the village of Great Haywood before continuing on towards Aldesley, a suburb of the city of a quarter of a million in Wolverhampton. It is said that the first traffic lights in England were installed in Wolverhampton. The Staffordshire, Worcestershire and Stourbridge Canal joins at the village of Stourton. Then sail further south to the town of Stourport on Severn, which is less than 20 miles from Worcester. You'll be mesmerised as you cruise along the local narrow canals.
