Almost everyone knows of Amazon director Jeff Bezos. But few know that he is in the process of purchasing a boat. And not just any boat. Reportedly, it will be the largest yacht ever built by the Dutch company Oceanco who constructed the award-winning Black Pearl. It's a true superyacht with a heliport and even a support yacht. The superyacht will be 417 feet (127 metres) long with 3 giant masts and multiple decks.

How much will it cost?
The cost of the yacht is estimated to be around $500 million. However, the cost is expected to rise even further with the addition of the support boat and heliport. After the initial expense, the annual operating costs of a superyacht generally range up to 10 % of the purchase price.
Demanding process
The ship's plans have been shrouded in secrecy, but experts estimate that 400 workers, including designers, were required to build the superyacht and a crew of 16 people will be needed to operate it. One thing is clear: the order for this ship must have been placed a long time ago as constructing a tailor-made superyacht can take several years.

Wealthy magnates value their privacy more, which makes hiding out on a ship the perfect solution.
