Athlone, Killinure Point, is known for its magnificent castle. Be sure not to miss Clonmacnoise, where you will be able to admire a historical heritage that dates back to the 6th century. Continue south to Banagher, where you can visit the town of Portumna and its magnificent Renaissance castle. The castle's French-style gardens will take your breath away!
