In Messac, you can see the iron bridge Port de Roche, which is decorated with the seal of Napoleon and was built for the World Exhibition in Paris in 1900. In Guipry there is a windmill.

The town of Redon lies at the crossroads of the Vilaine River and the Canal de Nantes à Brest. You can visit the boat museum here. From Redon you can head to all corners of the world - west to the land of Merlin the magician and Viviane the fairy, to La Gacilla, a town surrounded bymoss-covered paths and moors, and on to the stunning Chateau Josselin, whose 600-year-old towers reflect majestically on the water. The floral village of La Gacilla is lined with various cafes, restaurants and renowned shops. The Canal de Nantes à Brest is without exaggeration one of the most beautiful ever.

The route towards the seafront to La Roche-Bernard allows you to wander the streets of this charming town. La Roche-Bernard is a charming place with beautiful (day and night) views of the Cape and an ancient centre.

It is certainly a very magical region, the legend of Excalibur is said to have originated in the Broceliande Forest, the Lady of the Lake is said to still be in the lake there and Merlin's tomb exists festooned with papers containing secret wishes.

In Nantes, don't miss a visit to the Gothic cathedral. In Blain there is a beautiful castle and a museum of art and traditions. The Erdre River makes for easy navigation and is ideal for beginners.
