Who is Christian Dumard?
A yachting enthusiast and routing expert, he rode for the Forum Sailing Team (Mumm 36 World Champion in 1995 and Quebec - St. Malo winner in 1996). In the Sète team, he won the Tour de France à la Voile in 1988, from 1994 to 1995 he worked in the Marc Pajot Canal team and in the American Cup. For the last 20 years he has been dedicated to weather analysis and routing for racing boats (Trophée Jules Verne, Volvo Ocean Race, Figaro, Rouge du Rhum ..).
In 2010, he co-founded the company Great Circle, which provides top-class meteorological services and data for racing boats and racing organizations. It was he who guided Tomas Covill during his many solo records and he collaborates with several Mini and Figaro racers.
