The total number of boats we have on offer in Spain is between three and four hundred. Many of them have already been booked up, so currently you have a choice of around 250 available
Most of them are available in Mallorca
, over 150. Approximately 10% are catamarans with the next tenth being motor boats. By way of comparison, you can now choose from a total of twenty boats in Ibiza and similarly less than twenty in the Canary Islands.
A never-ending season
Why are most of the Spanish locations in Mallorca? The answer is simple. Mallorca is beautiful - and for a view from the deck of boat it’s doubly so
. Beautiful nature mixed with a rich history, you can anchor in small coves or snorkel in the Cabrera National Park.
The yachting season is practically endless in the Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza): from April to the end of October. The weather in summer is perfect for a holiday with children
. The windy September and October are better suited to sport yachting with the strong northern wind allowing you to go round all three islands in a week.
The continental coast of Spain cannot compete in beauty with picturesque Croatia, but even here you can find interesting places, especially south of Valencia. The Canary Islands is something else entirely
. Popular tourist destinations offer unique experiences, but it takes an experienced yachtsman or at least an experienced captain. Cruising around the islands of La Palma, El Hierro or La Gomera is demanding ocean sailing.
