Yachting during the pandemic

Do you want to go sailing, but you're not sure about the COVID-19 restrictions abroad? Do you want to get more information regarding travel or how to get insured?

We bring you the most recent reports.

Traveling abroad

Croatia is the most popular yachting destination. You need to present one of the following documents to get permission to enter.

  • Negative PCR test, must not be older than 48 hours
  • Negative Antigen test, must not be older than 48 hours
  • Vaccination certificate, at least 14 days from the last dose
  • Medical certification of recovery from COVID-19, at least 14 days old

To facilitate your entry, please fill out the entry form.

Italy has the same conditions of entry as Croatia - PCR or Antigen test (must not be older than 48 hours). You also have to fill out the self-declaration form.

Greece has stricter restrictions on entry. You need to present a PCR test, which must not be older than 72 hours. Like most of the other countries, Greece also requires you to fill out an entry form, 24 hours before your arrival at the latest.

It's only you and your crew on the ship.

Everyone has a negative test, so the risk of COVID-19 transmission is minimal.

Tips for a safe vacation

Yachting is inherently associated with social distancing. If you stay on top of the following few rules, you have nothing to worry about while yachting.

  1. Take advantage of the contactless charter option, which allows you to handle payment and ship takeover online. You'll protect the health of you, your crew, and marina workers.
  2. The yacht has its amenities (kitchenette, shower, toilet). If you purchase your groceries in advance, you'll prevent unnecessary contacts during your trip.
  3. You'll always need a negative PCR or Antigen test to travel abroad. We recommend getting tested regularly to prevent last-minute cancellations.
