Princess Yachts began in Plymouth, United Kingdom, in 1965 and was originally named Marine Projects Ltd. That same year, their first ever model, Project 31, quickly became a popular design among the boating community and began Princess’ solid reputation in the industry. By 1974 the Princess 37 V Hull was released, which was the first flybridge motoryacht to be created using a high performance inboard diesel engine. In 1982, the Princess 45 launched, designed by famous name Olesinski, and eventually became the largest production motoryacht in the UK, where production increased from 4 boats per month to 36 boats within four months. Since their beginnings in1965, there have been countless Princess models that have been launched and have made Princess Yachts a leading manufacturer of luxury yachts in the entire industry.
