The Island Packet 37/ct is considered by many users to be a very functional seagoing sailboat. Its wide interior provides enough living room space. Its sail and rigging engineering, coupled with its auxiliary Yanmar engine, can transform this cruiser into a racing boat that can reach up to 8 knots. With a 37-foot hull, this vessel is slightly longer than the 38 /ct and 35/ct.
The interior cabin boasts a teakwood finish just like in 350/ct. The 37/ct can accommodate up to six people in its berths. The signature v-berth forward has filler piece to add a large double-berth. The forward cabin also has hanging lockers and storage cabinets. The enclosed head can be accessed from the main berth. It has sink, storage and separate shower stall. Aft the main berth is the main salon in the mid cabin. The starboard settee converts into a double-wide berth. There are storage compartments above and below the settees. The portside settee converts into a dinette using a foldable table that reveals the trademark Island Packet wine rack when folded down. The fully equipped U-shaped is aft to starboard. It has double stainless steel sinks, microwave oven, ref, and twin burner stove. There is also a work countertop and storage spaces for dry goods. Aft to port side is the aft double-wide stateroom.
Above deck is the cockpit. Sail and rigging includes a mainsail with cover, staysail and genoa with roller furl. The aft bridge helm can be covered with a bimini top. Like the interior, the deck has teakwood finish with opposite-facing settee on the port and starboard side.
