The Island Packet 35/ct is a cruiser/cutter hybrid that belongs to the 35-foote fleet of Island Packet, which includes the 35 Cutter and the more modern 350/ct. The wide 12-foot beam means it can house a spacious cabin below deck. Despite its massive size and weight, it has a shallow draft of 4.5 feet, which allows this watercraft to cruise near the shoreline ideal for owners who love island hopping.
The 35/ct runs on a single diesel-powered, inboard Yanmar 3GM engine, which exerts a maximum of 35 horsepower. Its storage tanks can store 48 gallons of fuel and 90 gallons of freshwater. Below, the interior cabin features an all-wood finish, a signature interior design found in other IP boats such as 380/ct. The layout is typically IP 35 a forward V-berth, opposite-facing linear settees at the main salon, aft galley, and second stateroom at the stern.
The settee on the starboard side in the main salon doubles as single-wide berth. A dropdown dinette table folds down during use, which also reveals another trademark IP feature a wine rack and dry goods shelf. Forward to port side is another single-wide berth/settee with the ships entertainment system. Aft to the portside is the C-shaped galley with the typical twin stainless steel sinks with pressurized water faucet. The appliances include a princess oven, twin burner gas range and refrigerator. Above are shelves for storing dry goods and other stuff. Further aft on the port side is the entry to the stern berth, which can accommodate up to three people. The forward main stateroom has the V-shaped main berth with an access to an enclosed head. The head has sink, pressure shower and vanity.
