Cranchi Yachts

Cranchi Yachts has been a family owned company since 1870. The company was founded by Giovanni Cranchi on the Lake Como banks in Italy. Cranchi had originally made wooden boats for fishermen and for businessmen to transport goods and passengers. At the turn of the century, Lake Como was a primary location in the nautical world because of its many docks and constant shipping and receiving of goods and people. Giovanni Cranchi knew the boat business very well and had a true passion for boating and building quality boats using unique techniques that no one else had used. During the mid 20th century, Cranchi had passed on his company to his son, Aldo, in order to continue the legacy of his unique boats. In 1970, the company expanded the shipyard to a 33,000 square foot facilitiy in Piantedo, due to the high demand for new boats. Cranchi yachts are often praised and said to express the highest values in terms of design, engineering, reliability, and aesthetics. They now produce on average approximately one boat every three hours. Cranchi yachts come in several different models and sizes, and can be purchased new or used directly from Cranchi or from other marine retailers across the globe.
