The goal of Christensen Yachts is to be an international premier luxury yacht builder. Established in 1987, Christensen has produced 36 highly customized yachts ranging from 100' to 165' in length in its Vancouver, Washington-based 180,000 square foot climate-controlled manufacturing shipyard. Producing several custom megayachts a year for clients like Tiger Woods, Christensen builds yachts with hulls that are comprised of composite vacuum infused superstructures. As for the interior, everything from the glassware to the master suite's linens is custom ordered. Modern interior design and detailed woodwork are also characteristic of each Christensen Yacht. Launched in 2008, the 157’ Casino Royale featured original artwork from various James Bond films, for example. Each new custom-built Christensen Yacht is specially priced according to order. A 2011 160’ Christensen megayacht is listed online for over $35,000,000. However, a pre-owned 2002 57’ pilothouse powersailer goes for $895,000, while a 1995 120’ megayacht goes for $7,500,000. Many pre-owned Christensen yachts are in the $8 million range.
