Benetti 164 Golden Boy
Its hard to discuss Benetti 164 Golden Boy without using any form of superlatives. After all, this ship is described in reviews as “extremely beautiful” and also “almost possible” to describe. But in all fairness, this ship is one of earliest super luxury yachts to ever cruise the seas. The Benetti 164 Golden Boy embodies Benettis steadfast dedication to Italian sophistication and comfort. Like its cousins in the 160-foot category like the Benetti 163 Vision and Benetti 164 Vision Supreme, the 164 Golden Boy has spacious deck rooms to accommodate select guests up to 12 and a crew of 9. This “megayacht” can move on the water up to 18 knots tops, with a maximum cruise speed of 16 knots. This steady water performance is the reason why it is such a favorite among wealthy businessmen who frequent the Monte Claro or Greek ports. The ships lavish interior was commissioned to Terence Disdale, who did a magnificent job. For accommodations, the Owners Suites occupy the entire top deck. On the main deck, which features elegant wood designs, two VIP cabins with big beds are showcased. Of course, even smaller yachts like the Benetti 115 Flybridge has a Jacuzzi, so its not surprising that the Golden Boy also has one. This hot tub was refitted in 2006. To allow the owners and guests to enjoy the panoramic views of the sea, wide rectangular windows at deck level were fitted. The interior decks were lined with mahogany, which were intricately carved and fitted onto the ship walls to give the ship its trademark classical design. Entertainment and amenities are provided at the main decks galley and salon. The most popular sales locations by state for the 164 Golden Boy are: Delaware, Missouri, Georgia, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Tennessee, South Carolina, Texas, Michigan, Washington, Ohio, Minnesota, New Jersey, Alabama, New York, Florida, Virginia, Illinois, Louisiana and California. |
