power Yachts Review

A yacht that has a light weight when compared to the power to move through the water is called a power yacht. The ratio allows the yacht to move at speeds between 65 to 195 miles per hour depending on the size and model of the yacht. The complete design of the power yacht is intended to allow the yacht to go faster. The hull is a lightweight fiberglass and shaped to improve planing on the water with better handling. The shape of the yacht is aerodynamic and this allows it to have low air resistance and low drag levels, which also helps increase the speed of the yacht. Recreational activities such as waterskiing and wakeboarding are the primary uses for the power yachts. The average size of a power yacht is between about 25 and 46 feet. This allows them to have room for a small group of people. Few amenities are available on the power yachts beyond the stay of a day or weekend. Storage space is limited to that needed for fishing gear and fish boxes. Extra storage for a few other of items the owner may require is also available but limited. The price of new power yacht range dramatically, and must be obtained by contacting a dealer with the desired specifications. Used 2006 models cost around $349,000, but older models can are priced for around $125,000. Bertram and Excelsior Dawes are two of the most popular manufacturers of the power yacht.
