Cruising yachts are usually made from fiberglass with steel hulls. They are durable on rough waters and practical for sea going voyages. For long range travel a practical amenity is a functional galleys that will have a range, refrigerator/freezer, ice maker, microwave oven, and a coffeemaker. Cabo Rico and Goetz are well known manufacturers for quality cruising yachts. Used models are available for around $200,000 and newer models will costs well over $2,000,000. |
