Warrick Yachts ReviewWarwick Yachts is a family run design studio located in North Shore City, New Zealand. This organization dates back 35 years and two generations of the Warwick family. Warwick creates designs for power and sailing yachts that range from 50 to 200 feet. The naval architects on the design team of Warrick have created over 400 custom made properties from concept to the manufacturing stage. Warwick offers an extensive accumulation of power, sail, catamarans and sports fishing models. Yachting Magazine offered a critique of the Warwick 100 Cat series that describes this catamaran as positively sleek. The Warwick 100 features a narrow hull, FRP/aluminum superstructure, watertight bulkheads and independent steering stations. One owner of the Warrick 64 PC states “it is exquisitely proportioned with a profile that owes nothing to traditional yacht design.” The 64 PC has a cockpit located above the engine room for easy access to hardware. The heavy regions of the yacht sit near the longitudinal center of buoyancy to reduce pitching. This reduction keeps the masthead rig from cutting massive arcs. The masthead rig construction consists of carbon-fiber spars. PricingAccording to the Warwick Brokerage a brand new W60 pricing is $2,120,131 and the W70 Freedom runs $1,272,115. A pre-owned Beneteau 505 Silvershot Sailboat lists at $417,000. Pros
