Riviera Yachts Review

Riviera has been in business for over 30 years, since 1976. It operates out of the United Arab Emirates, where the company makes boats and pools. The boats include pilot boats, patrol boats, passenger boats, mooring boats, fishing trawlers and luxury designer yachts. Riviera is actually an umbrella company, comprising several different, smaller companies who focus on each of the products listed above.

Riviera's line of yachts is called is a relative newcomer to the Riviera family of products. It's called the Integrity line, and uses a material called GRP, or Glass Reinforced Plastic, to ensure both the solidity of its design and its ultimate safety. Riviera also owns a shipyard where owners can take any of their boats to have them repaired directly by the manufacturer. There are four models of Integrity yachts produced by Riviera: the 45 foot, 55 foot, 68 foot and 90 foot. Of these four, the 45' and 68' are still being designed and are not yet available for purchase, but the 55' and 90' are already out on the open waters and being enjoyed by yachters all over the Mediterranean and Persian Gulf regions, as well as Europe and North America.

The Riviera Integrity line is considered to be a good value for the money. Reviewers appreciated the comfort of the 2 or 3 bedroom design, and the excellent visibility from any area of the yacht. It is available with a standard 575 horsepower engine, or a faster, more powerful 715 horsepower engine.

Pricing

The base price for a new Riviera Integrity yacht is about $900,000, in US dollars. Of course, this doesn't account for accessories and added features. Used models sell from $200,000 to $600,000, depending on the age and size of the boat.

Pros

New yacht line made by an established company. Comfortable features. The earth, water, fire, air themes are cool.

Cons

Only two marketed choices at the present time. Known for comfort, but not as much for speed and power.

Featured Models

Each of the four models is inspired by one of the four classic elements: earth, water, air, and fire. Riviera encourages you to enjoy the feeling their yachts give of being one with the elements of nature.

Conclusion

For a new line of yachts, the Riviera has already made its mark in the international yachting community. It gets solid reviews and meets the needs of people who just want a good, comfortable, enjoyable yacht.
