Park Isle Yachts ReviewRoy Parkinson, founder of Park Isle Marine was born in Victoria, BC, and has spend over 38 years boating in this region. In the early eighties, he enrolled in a boat design and construction course at Canoe Cove Manufacturing, in order to pursue his passion: boat building. Park Isle began as a company which restores classic mahogany runabouts and sailing vessels. Soon, the business expanded into repairing and refitting. As the company grew, it expanded into new construction. In 1994, the company acquired the molds for the Monk Sea Master hull and for the Truant 37, a William Garden-designed sailboat. 15 years later, the company still maintains its integral focus on construction of high quality, structurally sound, seaworthy crafts. Their Royal Passagemaker is a testimonial to their craftsmanship. The interior of the 52’ and 57’ have been redesigned by Naval Architect Gregory C. Marshall. All their boats are hand built in Canada using the finest materials and incorporating client requests, including specialty equipment and the latest in gadgets and technology. They are built of fiberglass-reinforced plastic to the highest standards, designed to withstand the harshest ocean conditions. PricingPrices depend on the customization of the boat ordered. A Royal Passenger 52 2005 model can cost $ 1,335,000 and a Royal Passenger 57, $ 1,700,000. Pros
