Ocean Reef Yachts ReviewSummaryOuter Reef Yachts is headquartered in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Headed by CEO and President Jeff Druek, the company has been in operation for many years. With other locations in Annapolis, Seattle, Europe, and Sydney, Australia, Outer Reef Yachts is a globally known and respected company. Outer Reef lives by cliches such as, “The customer is always right.” and “If you don’t take care of the customer, someone else will.” Conducting business by these standards is what keeps the company expanding. Models range in size from 58 feet to 115 feet, giving boaters an excellent range of models and sizes to choose from. Outer Reef Yachts provides names and email addresses for all their staff members at all five locations so interested buyers and boat owners can always get in touch with the right people. The company philosophy focuses on building a quality boat safely, with fuel consumption in mind. Since the boats are fuel efficient they are not only environmentally friendly, but they are also friendly on your wallet. PricingPricing ranges significantly based on the age, model, and features of the yacht. We were able to find an older model for $80,000, while many of the newer models top over $2 million. Pros

ConclusionWhile we cannot tell exactly how long the company has been in business, we are able to see that they have been in business for many decades. By looking at their used boat sales listings, we found a 1969 model so we can see over 40 years of quality construction. With the pricing point of the 1969 model, we can also see the models hold their value over time. With the extensive range in length of yachts, from 58 to 115 feet, there is something for boaters of all experience levels. Outer Reef Yachts has one of the largest varieties in their fleet available. Purchasing an Outer Reef Yacht is a wise investment for any dedicated boater. |
