Navigator Yachts ReviewJule Marshall began building fiberglass boats in the early 1960’s. It is a tradition carried for multiple generations of the Marshall family. Today, Jule oversees the operation along with his sons. The Navigator and their sister company, Californian Yachts, launch boat lines that operate on the principle of classic designs. Since 1988, the Marshall family has built over 1000 semi-custom pilothouse yachts. Their motto includes a focus on skilled craftsmanship and quality materials. The Navigator yachts concept gears toward a hull shape that provides the best use of a minimum amount of fuel and horsepower. The company claims their hull form gives less drag and a significantly smoother ride. The Navigator 6200 is close to 64 feet in length with a maximum rate of 28 MPH. It includes three staterooms and two baths. The pilothouse provides seating for cruising and features a flush, flat dash for modern navigational systems. Other models offered include the new 50-foot Veneti. Sea Magazine describes the Veneti as a seaworthy offshore cruiser with a solid, dry ride. The 380 Zeus Drive engines power the yacht and take it up to 26 maximum knots. One owner describes the Veneti as a phenomenal tool for entertaining.
