Nautor's Swan Review

Nautor’s Swan is a company founded in 1966 by designer Pekka Koskenkyla. The business operates out of Finland. Koskenkyla organized Nautor in order to create the first 10 m yacht with a fiberglass mold. It was a design capable of reaching both cruising and racing speed. This ship, titled “Swan 36” was an instant success. After 40 years in business, Nautor’s has become the self-proclaimed world’s premier yacht manufacturer. In the 1980’s Nautor’s Swan appointed German Frers as their top designer. Under his supervision, the company has produced over 700 yachts including the Swan 51, 53 and 43. Leonardo Ferragamo and a group of investors took over the company in 1993.

One of the newest offerings by Nautor’s is the sailing yacht Swan 130. This boat is 131.23 feet. It features an interior saloon and VIP stateroom. The 130 is the largest yacht constructed by Nautors.
