marlow Review

Marlow Yachts manufactures a select group of yachts for those who want luxury and performance. Marlow debuted in 2001 at the Miami International Boat Show. Their goal is to create the world’s finest yachts through excellent craftsmanship, reliable performance at sea, and creative design. Marlow Yachts boasts about the development of their Full Stack Infusion, the name for the method that infuses resins into laminates. This system supposedly offers the ultimate in strength and longevity as compared to other laminate production systems used by other yacht manufacturers. Marlow is known for their Explorer and Prowler series of yachts.

Marlow Yachts partners with Norsemen Shipyard in China and has a brand new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant. Marlow is proud of its environmentally friendly shipyard and the steps it takes to protect the environment. The company reroutes rainwater for building and irrigation purposes, allows no contamination of its property or the surrounding areas, and provides suitable working conditions for its builders. This fact isn’t lost on environmentally conscious boaters who like Marlow yachts not only for the design and performance, but the company’s environmentally conscious stance on boat manufacturing.

According the Marlow Yachts, it’s important to look at what’s out there and see what other people aren’t seeing and create it. For this reason, the consensus amongst boaters is that Marlow is among the elite of yachts with no comparison for performance and style. The cabin layouts are superb and provide a feel of complete luxury and class. Yachters prefer the ease at which the mechanics of the boat are reached for repairs and maintenance, and technicians find that Marlow has a clear identification system of wires and cables. Marlow wants boats that appeal to individuals, fishermen, and families and makes sure that ever aspect of the manufacturing process uses the best materials and design.

Pricing

The Marlow Explorer series is a multi-million dollar marine vessel, and even used models from a few years ago can’t be purchased for less than a million dollars. The Prowler series can also run in the millions depending on the specs of the boat, but used models can be purchased for between $399,000 and $800,000.

  • Consumers and yachters consider Marlow yachts part of the elite.
  • Marlow offers its own dinghy, the Gypsy, with claims that it’s unsinkable for optimal safety.

Cons

  • The price of Marlow Yachts makes them unaffordable for the average boater.
  • Design of living areas is standard, although some changes can be made.
  • Some boaters wish the guest staterooms has private bathrooms for company rather than a shared bathroom.

Conclusion

Marlow Yachts is a company which manufacturers boats for the yachter who wants luxury and performance. Very few, if any, boaters and yacht testers have negative experiences with a Marlow yacht.
