The plant Jupiter moved into was used by the Black Fin Corporation. The Black Fin Corporation was founded by its CEO, Carl Herndon. He had also served as president of Bertram Yacht. Herndon now oversees the construction of Jupiter yachts. The company is a subsidiary of Jupiter Marine.
