Aicon Yachts ReviewArredementi Commerciali srl (Commercial Furnishings) was established in 1993 in Milan, Italy by founder Lino Siclari. Originally the company designed and built commercial furniture from wood, composites and metals. The focus later began to shift more towards nautical furnishings exclusively. In 1996 Siclari moved the company to its current location in Giammoro, Sicily where in 1999 nautical furnishings eventually gave way to luxury yacht design. In 1999 Aicon was established in the Aicon group of companies with the sole focus of designing and building luxury yachts. The state of the art construction and design facility located in Giammoro utilizes cutting edge technology and CAD-CAM design systems to produce yachts with superb seaworthiness. Much of the manufacturing process is automated which greatly cuts down on construction time as well as standardizes each step of the fabrication process. Interior design features of Aicon Yachts are luxurious and comfortable. With their own interior design staff Aicon draws on nearly two decades of experience in commercial and nautical furnishings to finish their yacht interiors with impeccable Italian styling. Owners agree that the sleek Italian designs give Aicon yachts a head-turning “Wow factor.” Aicon Yachts are considered to be “semi-custom”, meaning that the base models can be upgraded and some design elements chosen by the buyer. The Aicon Group does not handle factory direct purchases. All purchases are brokered through an extensive network of dealerships that cover Europe, the Middle East, the United States and Africa. Currently Aicon manufactures nine models in two basic series designs: Flybridge and Open. Their yachts range in length from 54 feet to 85 feet. PricingAicon Yachts are priced on a per order basis due to the semi-custom construction policies. Used yacht prices vary widely based on size, age and other considerations. Used Aicon Yachts can be found in a range of prices from $1 Million US to well over $6 Million US. Pros
